A report on the music industry, co-authored by Dr. Terje Gaustad, shows that earnings has shifted from rightsholders to retailers following the introduction of digital outlets like Spotify and YouTube. The report was commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture from BI Norwegian Business School’s Centre for Creative Industries and Menon Economics.
